Tricking

 

TRICKING is an expressive (freestyle) movement practice where "Trickers" combine elements from martial arts such as; Capoeira, Tae Kwon Do, Wushu, Gymnastics, Break Dancing and many other disciplines! This is seen much more now in action movies, video games and music videos!

 

Trickers
 

TRICKERS aim to form intricate combinations of moves (which are called "Tricks.") Trickers also rebound into GRAVITY DEFYING shapes for their own enjoyment and self expression. HOWEVER there is a competitive side of tricking, whether it's to push your own limits or test your skills against others in tricking battles!

NO RIVALS

NO RIVALS is the brand new, re-occurring UK Tricking Championships which was created here at HTA in 2024 and is held at our very own Hadouken Tricking Academy Facility!

 

NO RIVALS host 2 competitions each year...NO RIVALS Scottish Tricking Championships at the start of the year for Scottish students only to compete against each other to see who will become Champion of Scotland and then towards the end of the year we host NO RIVALS UK Tricking Championships where students may travel from across the UK to compete in our tournament to decide who are the UK Tricking Champions!

CLASSES

CLASSES and open sessions are held at HTA every week for Kids ages 5+ up to Adults as well!
